This smoothie satisfies the craving for chocolate, peanut butter AND coffee while still staying healthy and vegan (and soy free!) with the use of bananas, chia seeds, and almond milk instead of heavy creams and a lot of sugar. Makes about 16- 20 oz.
What you will need:
a food processor or blender
1/2 c chocolate almond milk
2 spoonfuls of chunky peanut butter
1 frozen banana (make sure to peel it and cut it in half before freezing)
4 oz chilled brewed coffee
a few whole coffee beans (about 5-6 coffee beans= a shot of espresso)
1/8 c chia seeds
ice. lots and lots of ice.
In blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. There will be little chunks of espresso beans, peanuts and chia seeds throughout. Pour into glass and enjoy!
